Arnotte Payne rose to popularity following his SOLD OUT one-man show, named after himself, 49 Shades of black.

 

South Africa’s most celebrated Stand-up comedian, MC, Poet, Instrumentalist, and Motivational Speaker.

 

He’s graced the stage for over 20 years and performed with the likes of Trevor Noah, Carvin H Goldtsone, Eugene Khoza, Nick Ribinovitz, Laughing Stock, Mark Lottering, Barry Hilton, Loyiso Gola, Riaad Moosa, Chris Forrest, Sifiso Nene, Darren Maule, Mark Banks, John Vlismas,  and Krijay Govender.

 

Tribune Herald rated Arnotte Payne the Funniest man in South Africa in 2010. He is also rated the cleanest comedian in South Africa whilst making history by being the first KZN comedian to grace the SA comics awards stage on 3rd September 2016, when he was the opening act.
